Dan + Stephanie might be the happiest people on the planet, and it made their wedding an absolute blast to photograph! Seriously, I don’t think I ever saw them stop smiling the entire day of their wedding, and their excitement was truly infectious. Add in some truly fantastic ghouls, goblins, and a whole lot of groomsmen running with smoke bombs, and you have one heck of a Halloween wedding at one of my favorite Cincinnati wedding venues, Newport Syndicate!
From the moment I arrived at Stephanie’s childhood home, the site where she was getting ready, I was greeted by everyone and invited to be a part of the good time. Ghost Hunters was on the TV, candy corn abounded, and Stephanie’s rings weren’t complete without a mini coffin to place them in. All the Halloween themed were pulled off fantastically, and it was an absolute pleasure to incorporate their hard work into their wedding photography.
Their ceremony was beautiful at St. Williams Church in Cincinnati, and then afterward we stole away before the reception for some truly fun wedding portraits that played on the Halloween spirit! Their wedding party was more than happy to run all over with smoke bombs, and we had a great time capturing some fantastic images.
When it came time for their reception, I arrived to find a full fledged Halloween party going down! All the guests were invited to partake in trick or treat, and of course Halloween costumes were encouraged. And, let’s not forget the AMAZING wedding cake. Adorned with a full Halloween scene, it was one of the coolest cakes I’ve seen in a while. The DJ kept the Halloween theme going with fantastic music, and the party went on for hours, making Dan + Stephanie’s wedding an unforgettable one!
Dan + Stephanie, thank you so much for allowing me to document your day for you! You’re both so much fun, and your families are just as awesome. I wish you all the very best, and thanks for letting me be a part of your love story.
