Ryan + Abby met because of golf, so it's only right they were married on one of the most beautiful golf courses I have seen! Choosing Pinnacle Golf Club as their wedding location, they had a stunning backdrop to their day. And, even when it rained at the beginning, nothing could dampen their spirits, or their belief that the rain would hold off for their gorgeous outdoor ceremony -- and they were right!
When I arrived, I was greeted by Abby's mother, who is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. From the word go, she, along with Abby and all of her girls, were so welcoming, so inviting, and clearly, as evidenced below, did not mind me climbing all over the place for fun angles and different looks! Their excitement was a joy to be around, and it was a pleasure getting to work with all of them. Ryan and his guys were no less entertaining, and I think groomsmen photos are some of my favorites to take when you have a group like Ryan's, where everyone was having fun and enjoying the day.
From the first look of the bridesmaids, to Ryan's first glance as Abby came down the aisle, to the ridiculous fun they had throughout the day, and to the point I wound up in the golf club's pond a little deeper than I'd planned, their wedding day was an absolute pleasure to to capture. Their joy, and the joy they shared with their friends and family in attendance, was so fun to witness, and I'm so glad they entrusted their day with me.
More than anything, I love connecting with couples through referrals. The biggest honor I can ever receive is when a previous couple sends their friends and family my way, because it means I did my job for them, and they trust me to send their loved ones to me. Such is the case with Ryan + Abby, who found me thanks to Macy + Sam! And, I'm even more excited now, because since Ryan + Abby's wedding, Abby's brother, David, has gotten engaged, and I have the immense honor of returning and capturing his + Julie's wedding this year! Congratulations, Ryan + Abby, and I can't wait to see you at David + Julie's wedding this year!
