Mike + Ashlea | Dayton Engagement Photography

If you want to swoon, look no further than Mike + Ashlea’s engagement session. When Ashlea contacted me about getting an engagement session in before the fall ended, I was hopeful we’d have some good light and color left, and man, did Dayton deliver! We wandered Eastwood Metropark and had a great time, capturing the fantastic diversity the park offers. Ashlea even managed to find a canoe to bring in for some photos in the lagoon, and we caught the sunset as well before heading back to their home nearby for a bonfire and to wrap things up. These two were so fantastic to hang out with, and were absolute naturals in front of the camera! 

No matter what location I gave them, or what crazy idea I threw at Mike (God love him, someone give him a medal for putting up with Ashlea and I as we had him traipse around with us, ha!), they nailed it. It was a blast to get to hang out with them, and their images reflect the amazing amount of chemistry they have together! Their ability to just forget about the camera and enjoy one another was fantastic, and it really was a joy to document their excitement for each other.

Congratulations, Mike + Ashlea! I seriously can’t wait for your wedding next year. I know it’s going to be fantastic!
