While Sam + Macy's wedding day started out with one of the hardest rainfalls of the year, it ended up being a gorgeous day...perfect for a wedding of two amazing people! While I get attached to my brides, Macy holds a spot close to my heart, because she grew up with my younger brother, so I've know her since we were both children. She's one of the sweetest, most genuine people I know, and when I heard she was engaged, I thought myself, "This guy better be good!" And let me tell you, Sam is perfect for her. He's kind, easy going, and just an all around great guy. They're hilarious together, and downright fun to spend time with. Because of all this, their wedding was amazing, and one that I was very honored to be able to document. From the beautiful ceremony of Hope Methodist church, to the flat out awesome dance party that was had at Top of the Market, every moment of their wedding day was a blast.
There’s no doubt Macy is stunning, and her wedding gown was perfect for her. Her hair was intricate, yet soft at the same time, and Kyle from Main Street Salon did a fantastic job for her. Watching her interact with her bridesmaids, there was no shortage of laughter, and being able to witness her mother help her into her dress was touching. Simply put, Macy can light up any room she walks into, so obviously she was completely breathtaking on her wedding. Sam’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle was priceless, and there were more than a few tissues needed during the ceremony!
But once the ceremony was done, the real party began. Sam and Macy, accompanied by their friends and family, definitely know how to throw a party! Top of the Market is one of the best wedding venues in Dayton, and Party Pleasers did a fantastic job at getting everyone out on the dance floor and having a great time. The music was great, the people were a blast, and it was certainly one of the best dance parties I’ve had the pleasure of documenting.
Sam + Macy, congratulations! I’ve told you this many, many times already, but thank you for allowing me to document such a precious day for you. It was truly an honor, and I wish you many, many years of happiness together!
