Spring has sprung in Ohio, and words cannot express how wonderful it is to be able to head out into the outdoors and capture my couples in great weather! As if Ohio knew I’d been wandering and exploring other places in America and Canada, my arrival back was greeted with a few fantastic days, and this amazing couple to top it off!
Kyle called me back in February while plotting his proposal to Erica, and wanted me to be there to capture the moment for them. Of course I said yes, and we devised a plan for him to propose a the Winds Cafe in Yellow Springs, where they’d had their first date. One of my favorite things to do is photograph proposals, simply because of the true emotion within them. It was an absolutely wonderful time to capture Erica saying yes, and afterward, we agreed to wait on the weather to get a tad warmer for their official engagement session.
That time has come, and meeting back up with Kyle + Erica for their engagement session at Carriage Hill was an absolute blast! They’re busy with the wedding planning, and having an opportunity to sneak in an evening of hanging out with them was a blast. These two are so natural in front of the camera, and you can’t help but smile when you see the way Kyle looks at Erica. The fleeting glances and their fun personalities made chasing the light around Dayton a great time, and it’s been an honor to be able to be their engagement photographer.
