Scott + Sari are a fantastic couple, plain and simple. So it goes without saying that their wedding would be fantastic as well! Choosing the beautiful Wild Ridge Golf Course as the backdrop for their wedding day, Scott + Sari had a beautiful Wisconsin evening to celebrate their wedding with their friends and family.

Sari and I met over ten years ago, after Sari toilet papered my then boyfriend/now husband’s house. We immediately hit it off, because, clearly, I knew she had a fantastic personality, and we became very good friends. Throughout the years we’ve had our share of shenanigans, and I’m honored to call Sari a friend. So when she and got got engaged and she asked me to be their photographer, I was extremely honored.

Meeting up at Shear Envy in Eau Claire, I was instantly greeted by Sari’s mother, her bridesmaids, and her soon to be mother-in-law, who were all so very sweet and excited for the day. They were such a fun group to interact with, and I enjoyed capturing their interactions. The excitement grew as we headed to Bethesda Lutheran Church for their ceremony, where I caught up with Scott and his groomsmen to document them getting ready, as well. Throughout the day they were such fun, and being a part of such a great group of people was a joy.

After a beautiful ceremony, Scott, Sari, and their bridal party headed to Phoenix Park in downtown Eau Claire for portraits, then onto The Livery, where they first met. Their group was an absolute blast, and game for all kinds of shenanigans, when resulted in Sari up on the bar at one point, dancing away! Those types of moments are what bring me back each weekend for more, and it’s simply a blast to get to be able to photograph couples having a great time with the ones they love.

Arriving at Wild Ridge for their reception, the party got started with proper form, with the bridal party entering to “Gangnam Style,” to the cheers of the guests. Through heartfelt toasts, a beautiful first dance, and a wonderful walk through how Scott + Sari met, the evening was one to remember, and I am extremely honored to have had the pleasure to capture their day for them.

Scott + Sari, thank you so much for entrusting me with your wedding day! It was wonderful to be able to come back to Wisconsin and spend time with you, as well as be a part of your day. I hope you love the memories that were made, and that the photos keep those moments safe for you for years to come. And, if you ever get the urge to toilet paper my husband again…do it while I’m away, so I don’t have to clean it up! 🙂 I love you both immensely, and congratulations on the start of your new journey together!
