What comes to your mind when you think of France? For me, I think of the pastries, the fashion, the history. I think of Paris and the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. I think of the lock bridge. But what I didn’t think of, was just how cool the back streets of Paris could be. The places that are less touristy, and more of the every day life of a Parisian. So, when I connected with Mike + Christy, and they were game to show me some of “their” Paris, I was absolutely game…and I think we created some great images from it!
I met Mike + Christy via Instagram, and after chatting a bit, we had a game plan for our session. We met up on a bright Sunday afternoon, starting by the Seine River, and we began truly wandering. Mike + Christy introduced Matt and I to Bubble Tea, we found new places to play, and we ended the night capturing a few images by the Eiffel Tower, because no matter how off the standard path of Paris you want to go, you really can’t not shoot with the Eiffel Tower at least a little! 🙂 Once we’d finished, we found a great corner cafe, and had a great time chatting over wine. Matt and I had a blast getting to know more about Mike + Christy, and hearing more about how they’d wound up in Paris. It was truly a wonderful evening, and one I won’t forget for a long time.
Mike + Christy, thanks so much for being amazing, sharing Paris with Matt and I, and being so darn photogenic! 🙂 It was a pleasure to get to spend the afternoon with you, and I hope we connect again!
