When Sari got engaged, I was beyond thrilled for her. You see, Sari and I met in the most random of ways, nearly 10 years ago (my gosh, I'm dating myself!). She and a fellow friend toilet papered my now-husband's house and saran wrapped my car, that just so happened to be sitting in his driveway the night they chose to strike. Naturally, I did what anyone would do: I found her phone number and we ended up becoming friends. :) The rest, as they say, is history.
So when Sari told me she was engaged, it wasn't a matter of if I'd take hers and Scott's photos, it was a matter of when. And thankfully enough, my family had planned a visit up to Wisconsin a few weeks after Scott's amazing lakeside proposal, which I shall chalk up to divine intervention. All the pieces fell into place, and we met up on a chilly Saturday September morning before the sun had even risen to begin our session.
And, oh, my gosh, seriously. The sunrise was deliciously warm, Scott and Sari had wonderful ideas, and really…they're just adorable together. It was the holy trinity of awesome for photographers. :) They were so much fun to hang out with, and they are such a perfect duo, that it's hard not to feel their love for one another.
And with that, I give you…the future Mr. & Mrs. Meska! :) Scott and Sari, I can't wait to photograph your wedding. I have no doubt it'll be stunning!
