Cody + Olivia's Flirty Engagement Session in Austin
What do you do when you go to a new city as a traveling photographer? You connect with an awesome couple and go on an adventure, of course! When I knew I was heading to Austin, I put a call out to meet up with an awesome couple to wander. Cody + Olivia answered that call, and we had a great time taking a few bonus Austin engagement photos for them.
You see, Cody + Olivia aren’t just any couple. Olivia is the mastermind behind Photo Fantastico, an incredibly awesome creative photography scavenger hunt of sorts, which pushes photographers to think outside the box. Add on the fact that their wedding photographer is Ryan Brenizer, and I was only a little nervous to hang with them! However, these two are two of the kindest souls. And, not only that, but they’re two creative souls! Put those two things together, and you’re bound to have an incredible time.
One of my favorite things to do in a new city is simply adventure, and Cody + Olivia did just that. We wandered a fun little creek bed I discovered on my last trip to Austin, then headed to Kelli’s Baking Co. for some edible cookie dough! Throughout the evening, these two were game to play and experiment. Those are always the best sessions, and I’m so glad they were free when I was there! They were full of fun and ideas, and I never stopped smiling while with them.
Cody + Olivia, thanks for taking time out of your day to come hang with me! I wish you all the best as you plan your wedding, and I have no doubt it’ll be amazing. I hope I get to come to Photo Fantastico this year, and I highly recommend all photographers check it out. Cheers, you two!
