Tom + Sophie's Stunning Autumn Engagement Session
What do you do when you have the opportunity to photograph one of the sweetest couples on the planet? You jump up and down and cheer, of course! Tom + Sophie are so much fun, and their engagement photos in the woods were absolutely perfect.
When Sophie approached me and asked if I would create their engagement photos for them, I was beyond thrilled. You see, I’ve known Sophie since she was young; her sister and I played softball together, and I remember Sophie being at nearly everything we did. And, as I watched her head off to play softball at Ohio State (Go Buckeyes!), travel, and become an incredible human, I knew someone special would steal her heart. Enter Tom, who has so clearly done just that! So, when I saw that Sophie was engaged, I prayed I’d get a chance to meet the guy who she’d found to adventure with, and I’m so lucky to have been able to have done that this past weekend!
Sophie + Tom are hilarious, adventurous, and a ridiculous amount of fun to hang with. From the start of their session to the end, they were champs — we were out in true Ohio autumn weather, and Sophie braved it with a gorgeous sun dress for the second half of the session. You are truly a rockstar, woman! We wandered Eastwood Metro Park from front to back, taking their engagement photos in the woods. We found new spots to get creative, and their flirtatious spirits shone through in the gorgeous autumn light!
Congratulations, you two, and I know your New Years Eve wedding is going to be a blast! I can’t wait to capture more of your adventures, and party with you again!
