Tim + Michelle's Fun Chicago Engagement Photos
What do you get when you combine two fun loving, amazingly funny souls, a gorgeous backdrop, a photographer down to roam, and a couple willing to show off their city? You get one of the most fun engagement sessions ever, that’s what! Tim + Michelle are an absolute blast, and living in Chicago, there are no shortages of places to go. However, for them, the Chicago busy life isn’t all there is to the Windy City — they love the beach, and since Tim grew up sailing, it only made sense we played at a nearby beach and highlighted a piece of what they love the most about their city!
After meeting up at the Merrick Rose Garden, wandering and having fun, we headed near the Northwestern University grounds to a beautiful beach, where we explored the docks and nearby kayaks. And, as we watched the sun set, we were gifted with such a fantastic display of light pouring through the clouds! Every part of the evening was a blast, and if we thought the sunset was fantastic enough, Tim + Michelle has even more up their sleeves with their carefree spirits, running up and down the beach line, kicking the water, playing, and just having a fantastic date night!
From start to finish, Tim + Michelle were an absolute blast to hang with, and wandering Chicago on such a gorgeous evening for their engagement session was something I won’t forget! Congratulations, you two, and I seriously cannot wait until your Chicago wedding at Gallery 1028 next August! It’ll be here before we know it!

Hey, thanks! The third photo is actually the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8! But the 58 is a lovely lens for sure.
