I

It’s always fun to photograph weddings in Dayton, but it’s even more fun when you find a kindred spirit. From the moment I met Bethany, I knew we were going to have fun, and then upon meeting Khang, I knew we were going to have a LOT of fun. These two easy-going souls are just fun to be around, and it made being their wedding photographer a blast!

From the beginning of their wedding planning, they both knew they wanted a simple, intimate affair with their family. It was a joy to get to chat with Bethany’s mother as they got ready, and to meet her little niece, who immediately captured me with her hilarious personality. Both of their families were so fun, and it was an honor to get to capture such a wonderful day for them.

Choosing to get married at the Oakwood City Building, their ceremony was sweet, intimate, and joyous. Afterward, Khang, Bethany, and I wandered a bit in Dayton for their portraits, which was a blast! Khang has absolutely amazing tattoos, which made it fun to get a few killer groom photos for him. Bethany had one of the most beautiful bouquets I’ve seen in a while, so of course we had to highlight that, along with her gorgeous dress and unique fur coat! Above all, these two ooze awesome, and they’re genuinely kind. You cannot beat that!

After their portraits, we headed to Corner Kitchen in the Oregon District for their brunch with their family, which was served family-style. It was a time of joy, conversation, and smiles all around.

Khang + Bethany are awesome, the end. No, really. These two were so much fun to work with, and their relationship was such a blast to capture. Congratulations, you two, and I wish you all the best!
