There are places that no matter how many times I visit, it never feels like I photograph the same place twice…and Cincinnati is one of those places! Sung + Annie chose to have their Cincinnati skyline wedding at Drees Pavilion, which has one of the best views of the Cincinnati skyline in the entire city — and it’s actually technically on the Kentucky side of the river! But regardless of which side of the Ohio River they were married on, Sung + Annie had a gorgeous wedding, and it was a blast to get to spend the day with them, their family, and friends!

Arriving as Annie was preparing for the first look, we set to work straight away, capturing every moment as it came throughout the day. It was a gorgeous day, so Sung + Annie chose to have their first look outside, overlooking the Cincinnati skyline with a beautiful blue sky. It was a blast getting to capture them together before the ceremony, and get to see a little bit of their personalities together before the big moments occurred later in the day. And, after they were tucked away for the ceremony, it was a blast capturing their friends and family, particularly their ridiculously adorable nephews! Everyone who attended was a joy, and it was fun to see everyone come together to celebrate Sung + Annie.

And, if the moments during the ceremony weren’t awesome enough, if you’ve never experienced the band that is The Naked Karate Girls, you are truly missing out. These guys hit the stage for the reception and the party was ON! They are easily one of the best bands I’ve ever heard at a wedding, and if you are looking for a wedding band, check them out! The hilarious shenanigans they encouraged, the fantastic music, and the fun everyone had through the night was an evening to remember.

Congratulations, Sung + Annie, and thank you for allowing Josh and I to be a part of your day and capture your moments for you! It was an honor to be there for your day. And, as always, a huge thank you to Josh Farr for second shooting this Cincinnati skyline wedding with me!

Those little acts of love from a mom to a daughter are some of the most important moments captured on a wedding day. When getting ready Annie’s mom made sure her dress was absolutely perfect, down to the littlest thread. Megan Allen was there to document this moment and many more of the bridal party and family on the morning of Annie and Sung’s Cincinnati wedding.

A wedding is a day that is made up of millions of tiny details (right down the the socks on your groom’s feet). This is why Studio 22 Photography makes sure to have an eye out for all the microscopic details that create your magical day. Sung and Annie had a perfect day at Drees Pavillion in Kentucky.

One of the fun parts of being a wedding photographer is getting to see all the different personalities of the couple’s come out in their wedding style. These insanely beautiful florals, done by Tulip Tree Wedding Florals, showcased Sung and Annies classy and fun Cincinnati wedding to perfection.

There are infinite images of the bride and groom on their wedding day, however one thing that Megan Allen wants to be sure of is that you have photographs of the emotions and reactions of your family and friends. This image of Annie’s mom seeing her for the first time after getting ready for her Cincinnati wedding, is exactly why this is a priority of Studio 22 Photography.

Weddings are filled with many things; emotions, laughter, love, relationships, and if kids are involved a little make-believe. All of these things transcend language, which was evident as Sung’s family did not speak any english.

Naked Karate Girls - Live Wedding Bands - Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

Naked Karate Girls wedding band from Cincinnati came ready to party (and brought all the props necessary). They not only brought down the house, but the guests of all ages enjoyed every second and had a night to remember. Megan of Studio 22 Photography was there capturing all the fun and action so that generations to come can relive this wild reception.

Studio 22 Photography always has a blast when kids are invited to weddings because you never know what they will do. This little boy at Sung and Annie’s wedding at Drees Pavilion was the leader of the pack all night long.
