A

As a Dayton wedding photographer, I get to photograph a lot of cool places in the Dayton area. Many of the spaces are outside and beautiful, but what do you do when you’re forced indoors due to weather? You make ridiculously classy engagement photos at Something Old, of course!

Late last year, I had the opportunity to capture Barry’s beautiful surprise proposal to Phylicia in Cincinnati. After that, I knew their engagement session would be amazing. You see, Barry and Phylicia’s attention to detail and eye for style is second to none. And, just as I thought, these two brought their A game to their engagement session with a flair that is second to none! Even when the weather caused them to change their session date twice, they were flexible and willing to wait for the best opportunity. Then, when the weather caused us to move indoors, they were easy going and made that an incredible time, too! They made their engagement photos classy, timeless, and a load of fun.

No matter what life throws at them, Barry + Phylicia are ready. And, with their new adventure to Portland coming up, I have no doubt they’ll have the best time in this new season of life! Congratulations, you two, on your engagement. It’s already been an absolute blast to get to know the two of you in our two sessions together, and I have no doubt that your wedding this May will be just as incredible. Enjoy Portland, and I’ll see you in November when I’m out there! Cheers!
