So, I have a confession to make.
I’ve converted to Nikon. And I adore it.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to collaborate with one of my favorite photographers and dear friends, Regina Wamba of Mae I Design, on a wedding shoot. It’s always fun shooting, but having a fellow photographer to push with ideas, see their thought process, and watch them get excited…it makes you excited, too. And to photograph a fellow photographer? Well, that’s just a huge task, and while nerve-wracking, it’s a heck of a lot of fun.
So when I met Michael and Jenna, I was beyond thrilled to work with them. Michael is a professional model, and Jenna is the one usually behind the camera, not in front. 🙂 However, I’d have to say, she’s just as adept in front of the lens as she is behind, and the two of them were absolutely stunning. We chased the light, used bubbles, smoke, twinkle lights, and pretty much anything we could get our hands on, and it was blast.
I won’t go into my switch to Nikon (I’ll save that for another post, ha!), but suffice it to say that yesterday was the first time I truly put the camera through its paces, and I’m beyond thrilled. The images speak for themselves, I think, and I can’t express how excited I am to share these images with you. Thanks, Regina, Michael, and Jenna, for making this collaboration happen, and enjoy the photos!
