Masami + Anna | Historic Mon Ami Winery | Sandusky Wedding Photography
Where do I even begin on this amazing wedding. Anna and I connected via Fearless Photographers, and from the moment she told me her vision for her wedding, I was in love. Living in Japan, she was planning her Ohio wedding long distance, and all her ideas were just amazing to listen to. From the get go, I knew it would be great.
And of course, she stunned me.
Taking place at the Historic Mon Ami Winery right on Lake Erie, no detail was left untouched. Her family truly rallied to create a stunning wedding for the two of them. It was truly a family affair, and I could see it in each detail. From her custom designed shoes, to Masami’s grandmother’s pearls, to the family’s homestead that we captured their bride/groom portraits, each moment was carefully tailored to reflect Anna and Masami’s personalities. And oh, the cake. The octopus cake. It was amazing!
Beyond the details, though, Masami and Anna are truly wonderful people. Their families are so warm and welcoming, and both Masami and Anna were game for anything I suggested, and I was thrilled when they said they would humor me if I brought smoke bombs from a local halloween store. Now that’s pretty awesome.
Having a wonderful couple, an amazing wedding from top to bottom, culminating in smoke bomb shots = pretty much the most phenomenal wedding I’ve had the pleasure of shooting. I’m not sure there are enough adjectives to explain how much I loved Masami and Anna, so I’ll just let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy!
What a beautiful couple, and your pictures are truly amazing.
It was my honor, Nancy! Thank you for entrusting your daughter’s beautiful day with me. It was such a wonderful day; I enjoyed documenting it for you.
Megan, what a talented artist you are. Thank you so much for making this day so memorable for our families!
